This fight always reminds me that Jackie Chan is truly a modern day Chaplin/Keaton. When recognizing physical comedians, Jackie has to be considered a modern king.
This concept is so simple. STICKY FLOOR. That’s about it. And yet he makes absolute magic out of it. He gives us a solid fight sequence, genuine humor and some cheeky, sexy stuff. Everything you want, really.
This fight might not be the most ferocious action sequence he’s done but, as far as comedic ideas go, this one is up there I think. It’s great.

The fight is from The Myth which I’m not going to post a link to because it’s not very good. It has three great action sequences in it (including this one). Track it down at your own peril.

Hey Raz (*waves*) You strike me as someone who loved spicy food as a human. Did you?

overazielous:

Raziel looked up from having been pensively staring at the stitching in the hallway runner and raised his claws, politely returning your gesture in greeting.

“I know nothing I knew in my brief and violent mortal life, I’m afraid.”

“In fact I have very little grasp on the concept of spice-?” The statement lilted into an inquisitive tone as if he were indeed unsure. “I have never had to eat food.” Raziel paused, the word food sounding foreign in his head.

“Perhaps we can ask Ariel.”

How come vampires have black hair (Zephon’s hair went from ginger to black, and the others kept their black hair), while Kain had black hair as a human, but it turned white?

overazielous:

“If I had to hazard a guess I would assume the curse works in many traits from its origin: the ancient vampires. Hence with age the tridactyl claws and cloven talons. As a race of people the ancient’s seemed to have darker hair on the whole. All I have to go on are ancient murals but that would make the most sense.” Raziel reasoned with a nod.

“Light hair among vampires of the Empire was extremely rare. I’m not a scholar of science and so I couldn’t confidently say why that was. Kain is the exception to many things, isn’t he? His snow white hair lent to this mysterious inexplicable grandeur he had. Very enigmatic as an all powerful warlord. As a fledgling I imagine he just came off as an edgy gorefiend.”

As Raziel thoughtfully pondered this something heavy was very suddenly thrown at him from across the room.
